Yokoso !
With an
ongoing alliance bounded by the influence of
Kensho Ryu International,
Commando Krav Maga, and
Yoshitsune Combat Jujitsu, all training in
Togékaido, is taught with an eye on giving the
practitioner the means of defending themselves in
a modern day reality based
environment. Mass attack with both open hand and weapons is
the emphasis of advanced training.
In addition,
practitioners adapt a Kobudo system having emphasis on
Okinawan and Japanese weaponry including the bo, kama,
sai, tonfa, nunchaku, bokken, katana, and
koboton. Extensive tactical/self-defense training
with knife, club, gun and improvised weaponry is the
focus of the modern weapons training.
As members of the
World Martial Arts Federation, and the
International Federation of Jujutsuans, Togékaido practitioners are affiliated with more than
300 other
schools in a network of seminars, workshops,
demonstrations and tournaments. In fact, Togékaido, is
the home of several International and World martial arts
champions, with one as young as seven years old.
